We have posted this in several places, but want to make sure that those who have registered after November 10 at 5 pm have this information:

Please be aware that those who registered, or will register, after 5 pm on November 10 are not guaranteed this year’s commemorative shirt. This year’s commemorative shirts will be given out at packet pickup on Wednesday, November 23 from 11 - 2 at Bill's Bike and Run in Snake River Landing. The shirts will be distributed on a first come first choice basis among those who registered after 5 pm on November 10. In addition, sponsor contributions to race packets were set at original projections. Race packets with ALL the sponsor contributions will be distributed on the same first come first choice basis. If there are any of the additional shirts and complete race bags remaining at the end of packet pick up, we will bring them with us Thanksgiving morning. <span data-mce-style="color: #cb400a;" style="color: #cb400a;">ALL PARTICIPANTS will get a shirt, bib, and bag. ALL PARTICIPANTS will be eligible for the prizes at the event and receive the finisher prizes designated.

When the idea for this race was presented to local runners and businesses, many estimated that between 50 and 75 participants would come out and run on Thanksgiving Day. Indeed, just two days prior to the race, 78 persons had registered. Early on Thanksgiving morning 2005 we came out and marked the course, set out the hot chocolate, and put up our registration table. Then runners and walkers of all shapes and sizes started to arrive. The registration line grew and grew. On that 18 degree autumn morning, over 200 people came out in support of this wonderful community event, and a community tradition was born.
The 2006,7,8,9,10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 Race to Feed the Hungry events were the largest holiday benefit races of their kind in the entire state of Idaho, and generated thousands of dollars for the Idaho Falls Community Food Basket each year.
This year we are preparing for more 3,500 runners, joggers, and walkers to join us in Freeman Park on Thanksgiving Day. Some will complete the walk, others will jog in the 5K race, and some will fly like the wind in the 10K race. Fast or slow, all will be part of something special.
This year we are again encouraging families by offering a special "Family" registration rate. We will also continue to sign-up groups and organizations of 12 or more, registering them as teams with the option to select a unique shirt color for their participants, take part in our special radio broadcast, and appear bigger than life on our Jumbotron screen. To be a team we must have your shirt color selection and shirt sizes no later than Wednesday, November 02.
Please Note: We are very excited that registrations this year have exceeded our projections, however this has posed one challenge. Those who have registered after 5 pm on Friday, November 11, are not guaranteed this year's shirt in the size requested. We will have this shirts available at packet pick up but they will be distributed on a first come first choice basis.
